The "why didn't I think of that" .COM ERA

So here we are at the brink of the $39.99 GoDaddy .TV cusp of an era.

Let's take a look back at 1982

A why didn't I think of that moment?
Davis sold 1-800-Flowers and founded ATC Communications and in 1989, he launched the Pegasus Electronic Distribution Switch technology, a system created to link central reservation systems for hotels with major global airline distribution systems.

** He must of gave GREAT PHONE lol @PeoplesRev

"Davis had to get participation from some of the world's largest hotel chains, many of which were arch rivals. His ability to get these companies to see beyond competitive issues, grasp how automation and technology could serve the industry as a whole was, observers say, paramount to Pegasus' initial success."

John F. Davis III (b.1953) is a millionaire entrepreneur and is the former the chairman and CEO of Pegasus Solutions Inc. Davis is considered a visionary of hotel technology by many.

In the early 1990s, two events helped bring 1-800-Flowers to national prominence. First, AT&T created an advertising campaign featuring the company that aired repeatedly during the 1992 Summer Olympics. Second, at the time of the first Persian Gulf War, many advertisers were pulling out of CNN, unaware that CNN's war coverage would draw additional viewers. 1-800-Flowers agreed to remain as an advertiser at founder Ted Turner's request.
